Here
at Telecost we have long experience in designing and building Mediation
Systems. We designed the first multi-nodal mediation system in Europe (and
possibly the world) for British Telecom (BT) way back in the 1980’s. These
systems integrated with System-X and AXE-10 Exchanges over an X.25 network
and were responsible for collecting and distributing all the billing data
(and a lot of other data besides) from the BT network. The billing data was
distributed to BT regional billing centres. These systems were operating at
the heart of BT's main revenue stream. Several gigabytes of data were
collected and distributed on a daily basis. We have worked on other
Mediation developments and in a consultancy capacity with major telco’s in
Europe including Telefonica (Spain), France Telecom and PTT (Netherlands).
More
recently we have developed Mediation systems for a large Telco in the North
of England and some smaller telco’s operating in the UK with Telsis Ocean
series switches using a TCP/IP network.
Our Mediation Systems are usually sold along side our Telco Billing products although we do have one client who runs Mediation as a stand-alone product. When run in conjunction with our Telco Billing System real-time monitoring is possible to alert you to a number of conditions including cost over-runs.
In our experience Mediation System generally require some degree of customisation to fit into an organisation, we welcome an approach. You'll find us friendly and approachable, the systems we produce will be reliable, not overly complicated, will be simple to use and the price tag won't have telephone numbers attached. Don't worry you'll be in safe hands with Telecost.
We are happy to provide you with a suitable reference site that most closely matches your requirement after an initial no obligation discussion.
